Position Overview

American Hearts & Home is seeking reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist clients with daily living activities in community and home settings.

We currently have multiple positions available across different locations, offering flexible opportunities for dependable caregivers passionate about providing quality care.

Pay Rate
$18 – $21 per hour

Available Shifts & Locations

• Dallas, GA: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Cartersville, GA: 2:45 PM – 8:15 PM Transport clients to and from designated location (REQUIRED) ( Mileage pay)
• Adairsville, GA: 6:30 am-8:30 am Transport clients to and from designated location (REQUIRED) ( Mileage pay)
• Villa Rica, GA: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to clients
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
• Support community outings and engagement
• Ensure client safety, dignity, and independence
• Follow individualized care plans and complete required documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and care team

⚠️ Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be punctual and dependable (early morning availability required for some shifts)
• Must be able to pass a background check

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a DSP or caregiver
• Experience working with the IDD population or community-based services
• Strong communication and time management skills
